Durga Puja 2007 revealed an opportunity for me to visit Houston Durga Bari. It was really a grand experience spending the whole day with them seeing the Durga Puja. I was really amazed to see how they created the ambiance that held the true spirit of Hinduism and every religious discourses to the fullest extent. Things are really tough to be sketched in words. Durga Puja Calendar 2008

Hey... it's time again to get carried away by the wave of fun. Yes, Durga puja is approaching fast and I am sure you guys have already started off with the Durga puja preparation. I got mails from my friend Writu, Dhruv and Shalini this weekend. They said they have already started cleaning their house. Dhruv disposed off his old couch and got the house painted. Well that's pretty expensive and not all people afford to paint the house each year. But decoration has always been one of the most significant part right before Durga Puja.
